Are your products vegan?
In the vegan community, there are conflicting views on whether or not sugar processed with bone char is considered vegan. Some of our products may use sugar processed with bone char, so we’ve opted not to label them as vegan. However, none of our products contain eggs, dairy, or gelatin.
Are your products soy-free?
No, our products are not soy-free.
Are your products gluten-free?
No, our products are not gluten-free. We’re working on some gluten-free recipes though, so stay tuned!
Are your products nut-free?
Some of our products are nut free. However, our products are produced in a kitchen that handles nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, and soy. If your allergy is severe, we do not recommend our products because of the chance of cross-contamination. Please reach out to us at hello@firstbitebakehouse.com with any ingredients questions.
What is your return/refund policy?
Perishable goods such as food cannot be returned. Due to this, First Bite Bakehouse does not accept returns, offer exchanges, and/or grant refunds on any goods sold.
Where is First Bite Bakehouse located?
We are an exclusively online bakery, both taking orders online and operating at local events/farmer's markets. We are a cottage food business and our products are not inspected by the Health Department.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our treats are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored for up to two days in their original packaging or an airtight container.
Can I reheat my cookies?
Yes! We highly recommend reheating your cookies for 15 seconds in the microwave for maximum gooeyness.
Do you offer catering?
Yes, we love catering events! Email hello@firstbitebakehouse.com with any catering inquiries. Please include the event date and requested order amount in your initial email. We'll follow up with a custom quote once we have all the details.
